Meet Our Team

Travis Burnett
(Soldotna)

I would like to thank the many hundreds of good people that I have had the pleasure of conducting business with over the years. I have been involved and worked at several new car stores here on the Kenai Peninsula even managing and running some of them. The one simple principle that I learned from my customers was that they really wanted a good used vehicle not necessarily a new one. If we had a good used one instead, they would take it over the new one. I have taken that to heart and with two of my friends started Magnum Motors in Soldotna to bring the peninsula the biggest and cleanest selection of pre-owned cars and trucks anywhere. I grew up in Kenai and live in Nikiski with my lovely wife Pepper and three kids. I try to be very involved in the communities and am a member of the Elks Lodge in Kenai. I played for the Backdoor Lounge men's softball team, State Champs in 2004. I continue to play and have good times with all of my buds. My daughter Paytience plays for the comp soccer team Riptide.. Every person that comes onto my lot is my friend, pure and simple. Come in and have a cup of coffee with me and let me show you how enjoyable it is to purchase a car from Travis at Magnum Motors.

Born and raised in Alaska, I have enjoyed the relaxed lifestyle of the central peninsula for many years. The atmosphere and environment at Magnum Motors is very much the same and that is by design. We love hearing when customers say that our buying experience is the easiest they have ever been involved with. I have many friends and family in the area and call the central peninsula my home. Therefore, I take pride in providing a friendly buying experience without the pressure of typical car dealerships. Come by and browse the largest and best available inventory of pre-owned vehicles on the peninsula and see why your money can stay in the area and help everybody.

Raised in Florida, I am an Alaskan transplant that has called the Kenai Peninsula home since 2012. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities; fishing, hiking, mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I jumped at the opportunity of working at Magnum Motors because of the relaxed atmosphere I experienced when I bought my vehicle here. I love being able to help people get the vehicle they want in a stress-free manner. Come by and say hi anytime.

Growing up around cars, I knew that someday I would want to work around them and sell them myself here in Alaska. Working here at Magnum Motors is everything I dreamed of! The low-pressure atmosphere, the amazing people I get to meet, and the awesome community adds up to an enjoyable workplace. In my spare time I love to hunt, shoot guns, hiking, 4 wheeling/snow machining, play sports, and eat good food :) I've been working with Magnum Motors for going on 2 years now, and have had the opportunity to help many customers by showing them a great car buying experience! Come check us out here in Wasilla, and I promise you I will do all I can to find the perfect vehicle for you or your family :)

I joined Magnum Motors in March of 2013, and I am proud to be an office/F&I manager at our Wasilla location. I am originally from Montana. I have lived in Alaska off and on since 1993. I returned to put down roots in late 2005. I have worked in other fields, but I inherited a passion for automobiles. Relatives on both sides of my family are car enthusiasts, collectors and/or automobile dealers. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been infatuated with all things automotive. I very much enjoy learning and working in this dynamic industry. My role at Magnum Motors has evolved and expanded over time. I like that I am able to work with our customers, as well as being involved with other tasks required in the day to day operations of the business. I came to Magnum Motors to work with others that share the values and business practices I believe are important. I know that everyone here makes honesty and fairness a priority. It’s part of our “no-hassle” philosophy. My goal is to lower the stress and anxiety felt by anyone making this important investment for their family. I also know that our community appreciates the opportunity to shop for a vehicle without the abrasive, high-pressure tactics used by other dealers. Let us show you that it is possible to have a positive buying experience. We want to work with you in the future and hope that you’ll share your impressions with others.
